Cookie Policy

This notice explains the only browser storage used by the SULTAN GRILL website. The operator is SULTAN GRILL. The street address and the telephone are on the contact page and in the footer. They are not repeated here. The notice exists because the site writes one small item on your own device after you close the bar at the bottom of the page, and because a reader should be able to see what that item is, what it is not, and how to remove it, without having to guess from a button labelled "Got it". Chilean practice, and the coming duties under Law No. 21.719 from 1 December 2026, both expect a plain account of storage that is not strictly necessary to deliver a page. This item is not necessary to deliver the page. It is necessary only to remember a choice you made about the notice. That is why it waits for the button, and why this page is longer than the bar. The bar is a reminder. This page is the explanation. Nothing else is written. There is no second key for language, no key for a basket, no key that remembers which plates you looked at. The site has no account that would need a session. If a later version adds any of those, this page will name the new item, say what it stores, and say how long it lasts, before the item is used. Until that day, the list above is the whole list. You can check it yourself in the browser, under local storage for this address. If you find a key that is not named here, that is a mistake and you should tell the house. The page will be corrected, and the unexpected item removed.
What we store
This site does not set an HTTP cookie. It does not load analytics, advertising, social-media or video scripts, and it does not embed a map or a font from another company's server. Nothing on the page calls out to an advertising network when you arrive. After you press "Got it" on the notice, one item is written to local storage in your browser. If you never press the button, the notice stays and the storage stays empty. Closing the tab is not the same as pressing the button. The bar is there so the choice is visible. It is not a condition of reading the menu notes.

Why it is used
The item exists so the same notice is not shown on every page after you have read it. Without it, the bar would cover the foot of the home page, the menu board and the legal text on every visit, which is worse than a one-time note. It is not used to recognise you on other sites, to measure an audience, to count unique visitors, or to choose an advertisement. We do not attach it to a reservation. We do not export it. If your browser is set to block local storage, the notice will simply remain, and the rest of the site will still be readable. Blocking it does not break the pages, because the pages do not depend on the stored value for anything except hiding the bar.
Analytics and third parties
No analytics script is active on this site. We do not allow a third party to set a cookie through these pages, and we do not load a tag manager that could add one later without a change to this notice. There is no advertising cookie, no session cookie for a login, and no cookie that remembers a basket, because there is no login and no basket. The hosting provider may keep a short technical log of the request, as described in the Privacy Policy: an address, a time, a page, a status. That log is a server record. It is not a cookie sitting in your browser, and you do not clear it from the cookie settings. Questions about that log are privacy questions, not browser-storage questions, and they go to the same email.
Your choice
- Press "Got it" if you want the notice to stay closed on this browser. The item is written at that moment and not before. Using a different browser, or a private window, is a separate choice, because local storage does not follow you from one browser to another.
- If you do not press it, the notice remains, and nothing is written. You can keep reading. The bar does not block the telephone, the email or the legal links. Ignoring it is a valid choice, and the site does not degrade the pages because of it.
- You can delete the item at any time in the browser settings, under site data or local storage for this address. Look for the key sultangrill_cookie_ok. Deleting it, or clearing site data, shows the notice again on the next visit. We cannot press that deletion for you, because the item is not on our server.
